Set against the scenic backdrop of Lake Garnett in Garnett, Kansas, the Cornstock Battle of the Bands is designed to showcase live music, create unforgettable performances, and give local and regional bands a chance to gain real exposure through event advertising, social media promotion, radio coverage, posters, and onsite audience engagement. This is more than a local show — it is an opportunity to put your band in front of new fans, new opportunities, and new connections.
🏆 The rewards go beyond bragging rights. The top two overall vote-getters will receive cash prizes, and the winning band will earn the opportunity to open at Cornstock 2027 in front of an even larger audience. Bands will also have the ability to sell merchandise near the stage while keeping 100% of the proceeds, meet and interact with fans, and network with sponsors and community supporters who may lead to future bookings and opportunities. With only 8 bands being selected, every performance matters, every vote counts, and every band has the chance to leave a lasting impression.
