WHY WE DO THIS

WHY WE DO THIS

CORNSTOCK is a celebration of all the hard working people that feed and fuel America, and  countries around the world.

Dreamed up in 2004, this music festival began as a "one day of corn, music and ...fun", allowing us the opportunity to brag on our community's agricultural heritage, specifically the impact of corn. Thus, Cornstock was born.

We invite you to enjoy the small town hospitality found here in a rural setting overlooking the historic Lake Garnett the fourth weekend in September. The slow and gradual grade of "Cornstock Hill" (The Hill) provides a nature made amphitheater for our music festival. We strive to  bring top notch entertainment this setting in Garnett, Kansas with the intent to "amaize" you.

Cornstock provides this venue to help over 25 civic, church and educational non-profit groups to fund-raise while making a significant economic impact to the region. Your attendance is very important to us.
